FREE and discounted photo books

There are a couple of good deals out there right now for cheap photo books.

First up is Pixable, which is unique because you can pull photos right from Facebook and put them into your photo book. An 8x8.5-inch, 22-page book is free if you use the coupon code FREEPIX at checkout. You will, however, have to pay $2.99 shipping. Coupon expires March 30.

Walgreens also has a good deal on photo books. Get up to four 8.5x11-inch custom cover photo books for 75 percent off -- or about $7.50 (plus shipping). Enter the coupon code BOOK75 at checkout. Coupon expires March 27.

Yet another FREE photo book

It's looking like I will never pay for a book made from my digital photos again.

In recent days I told you about Hot Prints (here), where you can get 1 totally FREE photo book a month. Then there's Arts Cow, where you can get eight free books (1,200 prints, and a host of other freebies).

Today Vista Print is offering free 5x7 flip book (value $10). You can choose from 12 designs, and books include 10 pages with one picture per page.

You do still need to pay shipping and processing (about $6), so it's not quite as good a deal as some of the other offers out there. But it's still worth checking out.

I know what I'm doing this weekend -- going through my pictures to take advantage of these great picture freebies.
