FREE weekend events for kids!

Congratulations!
Today is your day!
You're off to great places.
You're off and away!
-- Dr. Seuss, "Oh the Places You'll Go!"

On Saturday, Feb. 27 Target stores across the country are celebrating Read Across America day (which coincides with Dr. Seuss' birthday) with a Story Fun Time event from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. The free event will include a reading of Dr. Seuss' "Oh, the Places You'll Go!" Dr. Seuss-inspired activities and give aways.

You can read more about Target's program here.

And find your local store here.

Looking for another activity for the kids?? Every Saturday at 10 a.m. Lowe's offers its Build and Grow program. You can find out more about it here. Participants get to build a free wooden project, and get a free apron, goggles and other stuff. This Saturday's project: a free Lowebot car. Find your local store here.
